Please join us for our October Meeting. See meeting cost below as we have decided to reduces meeting fees by $5.  This will be a lunch meeting at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille Thursday, October 21, 2021 with registration/socialization beginning at 11:30 am.  Please arrive early to have lunch orders in by 11:45.

 

 

We will follow Mecklenburg County COVID Guidelines and will recommend mask wearing when not eating or drinking and practice social distancing when possible.

Topic: The Design, Selection and Requirements for Cast Iron Construction Products (Qualified PDH Credits in FL, MD, NY)

 

Presenter:  Amanda Allsbrook, Neenah Enterprises Inc., Region Sales Engineer-East Coast

 

Industry Experience

Amanda has worked for Neenah Foundry for 1 year, and was a consultant for Atkins Global for 10 years focusing on airfield design.  She has designed on airports all over the world and has helped engineers select the cast iron products they need.  She used Neenah’s products to create vaults for lighting on the airfield and was impressed with their quality.  Amanda oversees all the engineering from the East Coast, Maine to Florida.  She is the bridge between sales and the internal design team.  She is experienced with scuppers or deck drainage, DWPs, trench, ductile iron castings, and airfield related items.  She helped design deck drainage for the I-95 bridges in Florida around Tampa and the Tyndall AFB trench layout.  As just a small part of the larger build, she values the team’s success and is committed to fostering collaboration on projects.
