Our annual ASCE North Carolina Legislative Reception will be held on May 10, 2017. In an effort to encourage positive interactions between engineering industry representatives and our NC General Assembly members, we are offering this opportunity for ASCE members and their employers to interact directly with their legislators and/or legislative staff.

ASCE Member, Display, and Volunteer RSVP Here
This opportunity is free of charge and includes complimentary hors d'oeuvres and beverages. We are asking representatives from local engineering companies, municipalities, universities, and/or other engineering entities to showcase projects that have been recently completed or are currently underway in North Carolina. Presenters must bring the necessary presentation materials, including a poster stand. If you have a table-top display (including models, videos, etc.), please let us know in your RSVP and we will arrange to have a table provided. There are no stipulations as to display size or format, however, please note that this event is not designed to host sales pitches for your company's services (networking during the event is fine). We do ask that someone from your organization be prepared to stand by your display during the event in order to speak with legislators about the project(s). Please note that groups are welcome to provide multiple posters/displays if they have multiple projects that they would like to showcase.
We also encourage any ASCE members who are interested in volunteering to assist with the event (as greeter, "floating host," event planning, etc) to please let us know via your RSVP! We appreciate any assistance that can be provided.
For any questions or to volunteer, please contact Christyn Fertenbaugh at cfertenb@alumni.nd.edu.
We look forward to making a huge impact on our legislators, and we appreciate your help in getting a diverse and interesting infrastructure support message out!
