The ASCE Younger Members will be hosting their fall Adopt-a-Stream cleanup on Saturday, November 6th.
When: Saturday, November 6, 2021, 8:30am - noon
Where: Lake Lynn Community Center - 7921 Ray Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613
What: Pick up trash while we walk along the ASCE YMG's adopted stream "Hare Snipe Creek" at the north side of Lake Lynn in Northwest Raleigh
Email Pat Gilmartin at asceeasternncymg@gmail.com if you would like to participate.
All volunteers will need to sign a waiver for the City of Raleigh here: online waiver. See this document for instructions on filling out the waiver. Friends, family, and partners are all welcome to join as well - you do not need to be an ASCE member and there are no age restrictions, though everyone who volunteers will need to sign their own waiver.
ASCE YMG will be providing breakfast and coffee for all volunteers. ASCE provides all the equipment you need, including gloves, trash grabbers, and high visibility vests (that you can keep).
The individual who brings along the most people to help with the stream cleanup will receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card! We will also be giving out free ASCE Eastern Branch t-shirts to those members who volunteer.
