Speaker: Doug Taylor, Stewart Transportation Practice Leader
Date: Thursday, July 18, 2019
Topic: U-5817: I-77/Williamson Road Interchange Improvements
Time: Registration: 11:30AM - 12:00PM, Program: 12:0PM - 1:15PM
Summary: Because of the need to address the congestion in the I-77/Williamson Road area, NCDOT split some projects out from larger projects for acceleration. U-5817 is one of those projects, it extends Fairview Road over I-77 to improve connectivity in the area and give commuters another option to avoid the I-77/Williamson Road interchange area
